We aim to foster more alcohol-free connections and community centered experiences that entice all of the senses through our ritually crafted herbal elixirs. Our apothecary, workshops and experiences provide customers with quality offerings curated to emphasize the vital link between mind, heart and Earth.

Our offerings emphasize this relationship through the use of herbalism and other Earth-centered practices to assist individuals in reestablishing their relationship with the natural world, and inherently, themselves and others in order to restore the well-being of all. When the Earth thrives, we all thrive together.

Alcohol & Drug Free Experiences
We believe in the importance of alcohol and drug-free experiences to support mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of individuals, the community they are part of and the world as a whole. We foster these experiences by sharing our alternative offerings at events and in community spaces including festivals and music events, where the use of drugs and alcohol are common.
Sustainability & Community
Our motto is “Bridging Mind, Heart and Earth.” As we work so closely with the Earth, we believe it is vitally important to be intentional with our sourcing, as to create minimal impact on our local ecosystem and the Earth as a whole. From our ingredients to our packaging, we aim to source as local and sustainable as possible. We source our ingredients from local small businesses and farms. Our packaging is recycled, reused/reusable or compostable.
Rose Rooted continues to grow for the betterment of the individuals who we cross paths with, the collective and Earth as a whole. Our continued vision includes opening a community hub cafe and lounge to support cultivating community and connection, offering educational workshops and more, and growing many of the herbs we use in our products ourselves and to do so through a wild, regenerative garden. We are always looking for more local partners to source from and collaborations with other local, small businesses and artists!
Accessibility & Inclusivity
Through our elixir bar and apothecary, we create easy to consume, delicious and versatile elixirs and herbal products to allow for hassle free assimilation to our customers day to day life. Our elixirs and elixir concentrates (honey-based herbal simple syrups) are accessible alternatives to conventional and alcoholic beverages.
We focus on a one-on-one community-based business approach, which means we are continuously building relationships with customers and helping them to understand the ingredients and intention behind our offerings, in order to help implement sustainable and natural ways of living into their lives. We offer workshops, free educational content, and educational materials for purchase so our customers can be empowered to and have the tools for taking control of their health and well being.
We offer our products and workshops on the lower end of the price scale with a sliding scale menu for our elixirs and workshops. We are able to offer our products and services for other exchanges or at discounted prices for those who feel they will be supportive for them, but may not have the financial means to obtain them at that time.
Sourcing Transparency
We source as close to home as possible. Most of our herbs and other ingredients are sourced from farms and small businesses local to Oregon, Washington and North Carolina, where our roots grow.

“Sustainability in the context of Rose Rooted :
Sustainability is put into action by Rose Rooted through the production of their elixirs. Rose Rooted elixirs are made of various combinations of herbs but, unlike traditional elixirs, their aim is not to be used strictly as remedies to specific illnesses of the physical body. Rather, their intended end is twofold: they aim to tune people back into their natural rhythm through the energetic properties of plants, and the beverage itself is meant to be enjoyed amongst a community of kindred spirits growing together. Orkydaceae notes two moments of Rose Rooted bringing people Closer to Earth through elixirs. Since their elixirs are composed of plants there is a series that ascends from plants into elixirs and to people but, simultaneously, there is also a chain of relations that descends from the formation of community to plants and back to the Earth. Orkydaceae observes sustainability in Rose Rooted through this double movement, elixirs being the intermediary bringing people and earth closer together.
Rose Rooted does more than make elixirs. They offer workshops, attend and curate various events, and are one part of the Earth and Nekter collective. Although there are several avenues that Rose Rooted proceeds down, their aim remains the same: to craft healthy lifestyles and to increase an individual’s power of action through community. The idea is as follows: working with plants builds relationships with plants, and these relationships spill over into the relationships within the broader community. This spillage is the joy Rose Rooted has found by working with plants and, in turn, it is being shared with various communities. It takes the form of elixirs, yes, but what matters is what actually occurs while drinking an elixir: slowing down to notice the subtle moments of joy not only in the drink but also in daily-life. They would like to harbor these experiences in a third-place, somewhere neutral, a place that isn’t politically charged and keeps social distortion of all kinds to a minimum. A space of this kind is necessary because Rose Rooted is offering a way to recenter oneself, to move through all the emotions while being grounded, and to feel embodied.”
